I only put a bet on every now and then
I put £500 (alot of money to me) on over 2.5 on Chelsea the other day, won like £200 off that.

Then I seem to always loose it.

I have pocketed £300.

Now have £500 to play with.

But I want to win like £150 - £250 off the £500 in 1 or 2 bets.

Any ideas on how I should play it,

I want to bet on Sundays Football

Cheers

Mark hulkenburg is 25/1 to win tommorow's grand prix, if he makes it to the first bend in front he could be a 10th of those odds, impossible you suggest, but no, remember he is on pole position.

In the first lap leader market he is trading at odds on to be in front after one lap. If he makes the first bend in front you will be able to trade out for a healthy profit.

Doyle, there is no consistent way to make money betting large proportions of your betting bank on 1 or 2 selections, you will always lose even if you win for short periods. If you want to make money, never risk more than 1% of your betting bank at any time, and place all your bets in a consistent manner, i.e. don't even bother with hunches and guesses, but study what happens in certain markets at certain times, to find small opportunities. Sorry if that sounds patronising, and yes it's boring, but I only responded because you said 500 quid means a lot to you, and if you gamble on guesses it will be gone soon.

Have £450 at 2.78 on unders - Arsenal v Newcastle

Then lay your stake back at 2.1 when no early goal.

Then lay £200 at 1.5

Guarantees you £200 either way when the goals may come late.
