Somebody posted this IQ test on the Football forum (don't laugh) so I had a go for a laugh, but my result was penalised because I took 16 minutes and you're supposed to take 13 minutes or less.

So here you are, click the link above and answer 38 questions, and remember you are not allowed to use a pencil and paper, it all has to be done in your head. No point cheating.

I managed 138, but sure I would have done better if I could have taken a bit more time at the end, I work meticulously but not fast!

The test is flawed in that some people could get lucky by answering true or false when they don't know, but have a go anyway...

The experts confirmed what I already knew, that I am gifted at 131

144, its scoring people way too high by the looks. Ironically there are some grammatical errors in the test, even though one of the questions is designed to test grammar.

Don't you have to pay to get your score?
Report Lori • November 2, 2010 10:05 AM GMT
I seem to remember the con is you pay to get your certificate.

It's a total joke. Just Checking gave a pretty accurate description as to how these scam sites work.

For a start everybody in the footy forum got 130 odd. Is that believable for a second Laugh

Of course, because official IQ tests have to be conducted in examination conditions (no cheating, no access to anagram solvers, etc).  But there are some decent questions.

I got 28/30 - dropped a couple on the anagrams.  I was never much good playing Countdown.

Does a high IQ mean you are clever? Can it make you money? Will it get you laid?
Report zipper • November 2, 2010 1:56 PM GMT

Report madsimon • November 2, 2010 2:00 PM GMT

Jimmy 69 .. Some  professor  of  say  History  would not get laid in a  Shanghai  brothel with a fistful of £50  pound notes  ..
Report Trevh • November 2, 2010 2:25 PM GMT
There's no scam about it, you don't pay them a penny. I think it's a reasonable test but will show some overly high scores due to the 50/50 chance questions. I sent it to a clever mate who boasts of his Mensa IQ, but he only scored 113, just a bad day then.
Report The Investor • November 2, 2010 4:50 PM GMT
I answered "true" to every question and scored 88.

Sorry for my ignorance.
