I had to have my PC wiped recently.

The guy did a back up of the system first and re-installed after bottoming it out.

Unfortunately I have lost some programmes, including
Microsoft Office so I don't have Excel or Word any more.

I just looked at the cost of buying the software and
it is horrendous!

I need Excel particularly badly!
What would be the least costly way to get this please?

If you bought these before, you likely got three keys, so if you dig out the packaging, there should be two more lying around somewhere.

If they came with the machine, there might be a way of getting them reinstalled by whoever you purchased it with (Im less clear on that one)

You could try Open Office which is free and is very similar to Excel and Word.

Less than £40 here. Just make up student details if you need to http://www.software4students.co.uk/

Don't put the University of Life, it worked fine for a week, but then they collared me for an extra £340.

Blast!
It sounds a bit dodgy guys.

I need to link Excel to Gruss so I don't think
Open Office will do it Ian!

I have a disk, for Microsoft Works, that apparently
has a spreadsheet but, again, I don't think this
will be advanced enough.

It's fine just make up a kids name and select the local primary school.

Ian mentioned "Open Office".

Can anyone please confirm if this will perform triggered betting,
if linked to Gruss?

Gruss definitely does not work with Open Office.
