A friend recently set up dual monitors for me. However, ive just come back off a week's break and now one monitor is bright pink and virtually unusable. Im using gruss on it and one of the boxes is empty where it should have the lay stake, also.

Im non-technical but if anyone knows a simple remedy it would be much appreciated.

ps somoeone made a minor adjustment to the pc in my absence but ive been assured this was not the cause ( [;)] )

Thanks.

i/r manager should be able to deal with it, if you can keep him off the electric soup.

reyes, if youre interested I got a guy out to come and look at it... he thinks it might be a problem with the graphics card adapter that splits the 2 monitors. Got to buy a new one and see if it works.

If that were the case then swapping the monitor leads arround would also swap the problem from one monitor to the other and hence exclude the monitors as the possible source of the problem.

Cheers escapee he did that. Monitors are brand new and not the problem he said.
