I'm having some unfortunate dealings with a guy who, amongst other things claims he is a "Barrister (non practising)"
Given much of his other claims have more than a fictitious air about them does anyone know how I easily check this particular one?

I would suggest the Bar Council or Law Society as a starting point, generally the Law Society represent solicitors but they should be able to help.
