He was up 600k when the thread stopped because of the koo.. and koo.. imposter.
Report Lori October 13, 2010 8:45 PM BST
It stopped because he got caught fabricating P+L and admitted he made it all up to sell shares in horses.

Report Lori October 16, 2010 4:19 AM BST
Which part do you think isn't true?

I bumped the thread where he got caught.

He admitted it later (yes it was the right Koo) in the soccer forum that he did it to get subscriptions to his horse club. I can't find that thread to bump or I would.

there is so much rubbish written on this forum its barely worth reading. How do u think Koo affords 18 horses in training if hes not making money betting. Koo is a successful pro punter and that causes jealousy as most on here lose and dont like the winners
Report Lori October 16, 2010 7:23 PM BST
So which of my two statements was false portsmouth?

1) He posted a fake P+L (which I've bumped)

2) He admitted he made the thread so he could spam his horse club (Which no longer exists thanks to the forum changeover)

There's no jealousy involved here, my whole life revolves around pro punters. I'm just curious as to which of those you're disputing. I assume 2 because you know I can't prove it, but would like it clarified if you're calling me a liar.

Koo... should really be 100k richer today, his horse Palomar couldn't get a clear run at Newmarket yet still finished 5th, pity he couldn't have put a decent claimer on top instead of Quinny putting up 6lbs o/w.

What an atrocious choice of jockey. The Cesarewitch is a point-and-shoot race. Why wasn't Lance Betts up?

Lori its quyite funny what people believe on here.   However whilst im here.

1) He posted a fake P+L (which I've bumped)

No results were ever faked on the main thread, I used to take the pisss a bit on other threads and leave commas out for fun.   But all results on there were bang on.

2) He admitted he made the thread so he could spam his horse club (Which no longer exists thanks to the forum changeover)

This is the best one.  I started the thread in march 08.   Racing club didnt even exist until 2009.  It was either 9 months of expert planning or i started the thread for the reasons stated and explained about for the first 10 pages or so of the thread.   Either way its funny to suggest i statred the thread to promote a company that didnt exist for at least 9 or 10 months.  If it was all made up,  it means i spent 2 hours a day writing and responding to a thread all in the hope of selling a few shares the following year.

Anyone with major doubts could always ring Betfair who could comfirm the legitimacy of the thread ( they can ask for my consent if needed )for say a monkey a man donation to the injury jockeys fund and horse rehabilitation fund.

Anyways,  its all in the dim and distant past.   But who knows,  if i hit another bad run like i did this summer i might be forced to start it back up again.  Now wouldnt that be fun Silly

I am the right Koo.   I thought u said your not right as in i got the dates mixed up.

koo, Koo. and Koo... i think were all me.   Koo.. from memory and Koo and were 2 other different people.  One named after a resturant in Ludlow,  which made things confusing.   But i admit to causing myself most problems on the thread as i tend to write withoutb double checking and also the night it all kicked off i pressed a wrong button as i hit copy and paste i think.    My old laptop from meomory had that 4 key next to the exter so it was easy to press a 4and enter simutaneously.

I can create a Koo......... if you want inside 10 mins, but it will still be me.
Report stewarts rise October 17, 2010 9:31 PM BST
Nice winner today Koo, was that the one that you asked for names for? Thought that Palomar was very unlucky with his run, how come Dale didn't ride or wouldn't he have been able to do the weight less 5lb?
Report Koo.... October 17, 2010 9:41 PM BST
Thrust Control reared backwards and crushed dale.   But dale can only do 8st6lb so they need to be 8st11lb for him to ride.  Yeah that was the filly that needed names.   Looks like mystic meg has done well with another breeders prize today
Report stewarts rise October 17, 2010 9:52 PM BST
Noticed he hadn't ridden for a short while, 8-6 didn't realise he was that heavy, suppose their aren't too many light weight claimers around.
Report pappilionmybiggestwin October 17, 2010 9:52 PM BST

Thing is im very sceptical on here of others sucess as its so hard to make money its difficult to believe some others are making as much as they say they are.   I can understand why some believe or choose to be wary,  its probably only natural.

I think you're you.
But others don't.
But as long as you know you're you then it's all pretty much irrelevant.
You do prove the point that inside info. in HR is essential to be a long term winner.
Without it you're toast.
Report Koo.... October 17, 2010 10:52 PM BST

Lost 3 months running though which was sore, alberit not much in either month.  Maybe 100k in tital

You dont need inside info to win at this game.   Ive only got horses really at one stable.   Ive one horse at another stable and whenever he has a runner i dont bother to ring and ask how its doing, so thats how interested i am inside info.

Theres 3 meetings tomorrow and i'll be betting as heavy on those races as races where i have a runner or a stable i know anything about.
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR October 17, 2010 11:05 PM BST
Somehow that doesn't quite ring like all the truth and nothing but the truth.
But whatever.
I wouldn't really expect you to admit on a public forum that you bet on inside info.
Who would ?

i really enjoyed Koo's thread and now im always ruling for his horses

keep it going Koo [;)]

*by the way there are a lot of people making money out of the horses that never even been to a live race let alone with inside info
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR October 17, 2010 11:14 PM BST
A lot of people ?
You mean a lot of people say they are.
General rule.
If you know nothing about something, then don't put your money into it .

i know i don't, thats for sure, but i contribute with my football winnings to all you horse racing winners [smiley:crazy]

i just enjoy the speed of the outcome (au contraire of football betting or even worse tennis betting)and for that i give my contribution

*when i say "a lot of people" i say people that live outside horse racing countries but still bet here on the horses, unless you're claiming that only people from the UK win
Report Koo.... October 17, 2010 11:24 PM BST
i didnt say i dont bet using inside info.   But thats the priveldge i get from owning 20 horses.

But the amount of inside info bets i have represents such a small % of my turnover.   I prob win using my inside info,  but i make plenty in races without amy info which i need to as i dont have any info for prob upto 95% of all races.   Which means as i say you dont need to have inside info to win at this game.
