trading advice

i know this will get a few different responses and ill have to work out who is speaking sense and who isnt but...

when trading small figures.. what sort of stop loss should you put in place.?? you obviously never just let in run because it then becomes a bet.. but at what point %age wise would you recommend getting out of a trade?? thanks
