I'm in Paris on business for a week in early Oct. Will be going to the Arc too.
Is it possible to access via the internet:
1. Betfair
2. The forum
3. Any betting site (PP, Laddies etc)
4. Racing Post, ATR website etc

use a vpn - works as normal - try googling vpn for info

I take it that means you can't just turn up & plug your laptop into the hotel room's ethernet cable then

correct - it doesn't work that way - but for a few quid a month it works as normal via vpn - I'm no techie but it's v simple to set up, just a couple of clicks
