Betfair lay challenge (all welcome)

There are a couple of races which i`ll monitor for drifters in last few mins before the off and try to get matched i/r at a
lower price, 4:30 - 5:00 & 5:20

No offence but it's going to be just another thread unless you lay down some ground rules first. 

First off, how about one lay a day as zipper has just suggested on your other thread? 

Secondly, to avoid all this pharting about with prices how about using Betfair SP to determine profit/loss figures? 

Finally, laying for a fixed stake, say a tenner? 

You might get more people taking an interest.  What do you think?

Yes, one a day sounds good, as does fixed stakes.
Will have to be £5 though, only have small bank now.

Not sure with Betfair sp, in the past ive generally laid at  lower prices before they drift a little(more often than not anyway)

I was asking that yes, looking for a small but select band of layers,if they win they win. Its only a small bank im starting with, just fun mate. Thanks for site, may take a look later.

Shane.. Beaver Patrol won for us  thats the way to do it  any race  back one lay  one  you have a bet  providing your lay gets beat . you have a free  bet . if your  back wins  like today  you win twice .

Good start zip, nice one. Had £5 on lay (stake) and £5 win on Beaver.

MM1 that link you gave is rubbish.  He is laying for about 95% of his bank each lay at high odds around 25-1.  Of course he will get a few winners in - but then he'll find a winner.

What a waste of time and extremely amateurish. The worrying thing is he has followers getting excited seeing him win £20 from a £1200 bet, saying things like:

"I sooooooooooo need to look into and understand Betfair"

Ive heard so many horror stories at first hand, i can`t imagine any circumstances

Zip  watches  ATR  and  RUK  with  the  Mute botton  on , till  they are  off . I like  very  much the  commentators  especially  Jim Mcgarth   ozy  Jim  hes the  best .

Shane  3.50 Salsbury Lay   Margot  Did  its the most  pop nap of the  day (5)   its a filly   its got 9 to beat .  and the most  pop nap  has a  dreadful record  and    when  its a filly  at 6/4  zip   will take it on     win lose  or  draw  i have  6 years  records  on this  type  of thing .

The Hague looks a decent lay, around 2/1 would be a good price.

Ive taken a look at Margot Did, looks a worthy fav but a very short price, so its a lay. Cheers zip.

Shane  zip  would not  touch the  race  with a   pole  7 runners  all  Appentice ridden  owt can happen   any how   4.35   zip will be  weight in game over  won  plenty .

Shane  dont  lay  that  Mam  Ratagan     with  the  WD  it  looks a walk  over    about   1/2on   in  my  book   ok its  a  micky  mouse  race   but  the  others  are  dreadfull .
