19.25% seems really high to me, they will take 15.44% of me tomorrow which is about normal for me.  Best to ask how it was calculated.

Presumably it's because you had very few losing markets. That's life I'm afraid.

I have had up to 25% taken off.  I calculated it myself as I felt that must be wrong since I normally only get about 22.5% taken off (com+PC).  However the 25% was correct for that week!

One man's **** week is another man's decent month it would appear , but which ever way you look at it , the PC is hells creation.
Report Zman19 August 31, 2010 8:33 PM BST
what do you mean by pc?
Report pxb September 1, 2010 11:16 AM BST
I'm going to hit the pc in the next few weeks.

I'm going to spend that time trying for wins outside BF and compensating losses in BF.

If that doesn't work, I'll go elsewhere or do something else.

It's bad enough that BF collects the interest from the substantial sum in my account and doesn't pay me a cent, without penalizing me just because I win.

Ah for the good old days when pokersites paid 10% interest a year just for playing there Cry

I shouldn't even be on the PC!  I just had one massive win on the Grand National (5 figure amount) last year, which was 5 times bigger than any other win that I've ever had. If you took that away, my strike rate would be nothing special.  Closing my old account and opening another one hasn't freed my from the shackles of the PC.

I thought that the premium charge disregards one exceptually large winning bet when calculating liability to pay the tax.

the "big win" is 50% of gross profits over the lifetime of the account.
