Hi Folks,

I'm new to the forum and have been involved with Trading for a few years and over this period I have bought and acquired many Forex Ea's some very good and some not so good I decided to quit trading Forex and I will be closing my Betfair account as I have lost thousands by chasing losses not being able to control my emotions etc.. and this was also having a negative effect on my relationship.

I'm offering these EA'S to Traders that have discipline (something I lack unfortunately!)

Here is the link if anyone is interested:

whats an EA?

oh and see you tomorrow... :-)

Forex EA is a term that refers to the expert advisory for the forex market. Forex EA is a forex robot which written using the ML-4  language and designed to perform operations on the Meta-Trader 4 platform. This software can be programmed to notify you when there is an opportunity to conduct operations in the forex market, even you can set your account automatically to handle all aspects of operation and can directly send messages on both the broker to stop and trailing.

Forex EA is the unique software, because it has its own rules in the sale and purchase transaction set. Forex EA can remove the emotional aspect that is usually found in the human and this emotions is often a factor in the forex market rout. In addition, this system can also be programmed to assess a lot of data at the same time, something that can not be done because most of the data is processed so complicated.

This software is also available with a choice of customization according to your taste, you just choose to stay. It's specifically designed to operate quickly that you can generate reports at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This of course will be easier for you in the analysis of the forex market trend which so quickly changed, that will ultimately bring benefits to you.

System of the Forex EA is very diverse and powerful, so that will be able to calculate the indicator market conditions and can give a right decision for you. This system can also consider the various possibilities accurately in a short time to decide what the best things you must do.

sounds interesting. could we describe it/them as bot(s)?

is there more than 1 bot?

can you use it to place bets on betfair?

does it analyse betfair data and other data sources?

do you know why the bot didn't remove the emotions from your trading methods? where you overriding the bots programmed operations maybe?

-  YES,  very simular..

is there more than 1 bot?
-YES  you can have  1000's  :)

can you use it to place bets on betfair?
- No,  they are programmed for Forex    market  only!

does it analyse betfair data and other data sources?
-  No  only  FX  markets.
-  (go on wikipedia  and read about  TREND TRADING),,,...    These bots  are the same.

Do you know why the bot didn't remove the emotions from your trading methods?
-2 types of BOT.   See  Symantic  Hedgefunds,  and Discresional  hedge funds...
(  one  tells YOU when to trade,  the other does  the trades for you).

where you overriding the bots programmed operations maybe?
- See above   (depends  on BOT type).

Thanks MIB34. You have just about covered most points with your response.

@getintheir,

do you know why the bot didn't remove the emotions from your trading methods? where you overriding the bots programmed operations maybe?

Rather than leaving some of the Ea's to do their job on auto-pilot I would intervene when I thought there was an opportunity in the market and rather than cutting my losses when my judgement was wrong as the market went against me I would try to recover my losses and thus further exacerbating the lose :-(

Hope that answers your question?

The problem  with FX,  is most people go bust  in the 1st    6 months.

They fail to realise  that to make money  you need to do 2 things  with disapline...

1,    Use  very low  levels of leverage.
pref  below  5  to 1.     When u are offered  leverage of 50 - 1.

and
2,  Commission  are HUGE  for the traders.

The reason  banks  can make money in FX,,   is mainly  due  to Fees  exicuting trades  for customer,   as well as  Flow  trading.  (ie  copying good customes).

Thats where I failed miserably as I had to admit that I lacked discipline with both my Betfair and Forex accounts.

I kept giving my money away by chasing losses :-(

First of all, this guy is trying to sell something.

Not only that but he then goes on to post a link to ebay.

And he is still being given the time of day.

I think anybody who asks how you can make money on Betfair needs pointed to this thread.

Mugs, the lot of you.

FAo:-    Rocket to the FACE

I did notice  ;)

and Yes, you are more likely  to make a profit  on Betfair   than to try  n play at FX !

@Rocket to the FACE.

I have lost many thousands with my Betfair account over the years and have only myself to blame!!

I have decided that enough is enough and have closed my Forex and very soon Betfair account. I only want to recoup a small % of my losses before ending my Betfair venture for good.

I see no harm in offering some Forex programs that may help/benefit punters that are disciplined with their betting/Trading.

i have used these in the past and have ecountered some decent EA as long as you stick to small lots sizes without being aggresive...
Report MIB34 September 2, 2010 5:54 PM BST
Humm,

Would  you play  at BF,..     If they were  to offer  400x  capital  as Leverage  ?
