You're half right. Surely there are a few on course bookmakers that have a credit betting operation running aswell?

|
By:
fitzdares.com, goldchipgaming.co.uk, starsports.co.uk
any of the major firms will also offer a credit facility so long as u can prove ur means |
|

Lets see who does Credit loans....
Banks, yup car dealers, yup most high street shop :) hell, just type in " PAY DAY LOANS" into Google ;) (Unlimited credit at a high price ) |
|
By:

The spread firms provide credit.

Free to those who can afford it, very expensive to those who can't.

I wish I could get credit at a reasonable rate with a bank.
"Hey I'm good for the money, I've got loads of cash sitting in online betting accounts.", doesn't seem to inspire confidence with moneylenders. ![]() |

Balthazar Fabricius who set up fitzdares is in the sunday times (young) rich list.
He's about 30 and worth £10+, just because of this one business, so they must be doing some decent volume. |

Does anyone know much about these types of books?
How competitive are their odds? Will they change odds depending on client/size of bet? What are the maximum that they offer? I will be in contact with them, but would be good to hear from anyone with personal experience |

Isn`t he just a reckless risk taker who happens to have got lucky? It was widely reported that he got sacked by one of the major firms due to a gambling debt that his father had to settle. |

James Blake - 'starsports' and 'competitive odds' can't happen in the same sentence..it is a contradiction in terms

starsports are most definitely not to be trusted. they dig into your details around the betting industry to check if you meet their requirement of being stonkingly thick at betting before letting you lose your cash
they called me up after 2 bets and said they had been ringing around and found out i was a bit too good for them to be laying me, account closed if i had given a monkeys i might have chased them to see if they could be strung up for breaching data protection act, but they just aren't worth it the game's not fair and it never has been, get used to it and move on was my take i will badmouth them to other gamblers given the chance though, obviously. note to starsports, if you're going to play dirty, don't tell the punter what you've been up to! |

Eldrick, your summary would be the norm as I understand it.

was he lbrokes pr man at one time?
Yes. He "left" under a cloud following a well publicised £50k personal loser that he laid whilst working at the test match. Apparently he was bailed out by his father and then went into business with the Goldsmiths. If he had such good contacts I have no idea why he was doing a pretty low paid job at L`brokes. |

thanks for that banks.perhaps it was to get more contacts whilst getting experience with lads
