365 with best oddds and other offers such as 1/4 odds on TV races and pay double result as do a few others

any of these gives you a better deal than BF most of the time on the shorter priced horses

you seem to have misread my answer.

ill quote you.

"obviously it isnt always going to be the same bookies."

so asking who the best odds are given by will be different bookies for different markets. just use oddschecker.

If you bet with a particular bookie only when they are best price, doesn't said bookie pull off your feckin gonads tout de suite?

You asked horse racing, but I'll give my two cents where football is concerned.

Typically, Billy Mountain stick their neck out more than Koral and Baddies. Koral don't offer each way betting on goalscorers now, so that's that buggered. Laddies' odds on first scorers are horrific.
Baddies are typically shy on goalscorers, and they often don't give you the option of doing goalscorer betting in lower league games (as in Leagues 1 and 2!). Either they have a "not on screen = no betting" policy, or the shop staff there can't be bothered to phone and/or check later to manually settle bets. The latter I suspect?

When I say Mountain stick their neck out, I refer to them offering better 'special double' prices, i.e Messi top scorer and Argentina win the World Cup - 28/1 compared to most firms' 20/1 or so. Also, two seasons ago they had both Barca and Man Utd at 10/11 (on the high street) to win the Champions League on the eve of the final, compared to 5/6 the pair with the others. Most firms stay strong on their over-rounds, whereas they're likely to give a bit more away in certain circumstances.

Billy Mountain? Bookmaker? ROTFLMFAO. Feckin accountants. I'm surrounded by dead gnomes as we speak.

How do I get new gnomes. Mmmnnn, that's a tricky one.

You'd never see me praise a bookmaker, but they'd be the last I'd slate (on the high street). Everybody has different experiences though so my words are essentially worthless.

You ever been to Kirkcaldy?
Report Veridis Quo • July 18, 2010 12:07 AM BST
No. Is it a hotbed of Billy Mountain contemptibility?
