Strange Profit or am I calculating incorrectly

Hi folks,

Bath 16.50, horse Indian Ballad, I got it at odds of 4.7 to win, by my reckoning thats a multiple of 3.7. I'm new so just testing the system at the moment so hence piddling bets not worth worrying about, I put down €0.40 and got a profit paid of €0.54, my calculator tells me at 3.7 x 0.4 I should have got €1.48.....lucky I didnt slap €100 down!

Any ideas what might be happening here?

Have a look at your account statement/P & L again and check that the numbers are correct.
You should obviously have got much nearer the 1.48 you quote even after commission.

Looked at the P/L page still says 0.54, I'm a bit embarrased when the figures are so low, but whatever the numbers are, the formula should be correct? It doesn't seem to be, what do I do now, is there a contact number for support in Ireland?

To be honest its more likely a mistake on your part,such as not getting fully matched etc

but check on your statement page.It will show clearly what happened there.

Statement Page says bet was matched odds 4.70 Stake €0.40, there doesn't seem to be any mistake there or miss match of stake or odds?

That horse dead heated for first so you only get half the return.

You joined 21.02.08, hardly makes you "new"
