sorry guys this is my first rant on here. I placed some tote exacta bets yesterday and got the "pending" screen and then eventually a box came up and said check your account statement to see if there placed I did and they were the second one won, I kept on placing exacta bets for the rest of the evening despite getting pending screen and then the box saying check account statement, I did not get paid out for the winning exacta bet and eventually got the exacta stakes refunded I don't think this is fair after the account statement screen said bets were placed,

It's arguable whether a tote bet can ever be considered a bet

There seemed to be a "problem" with one race ...the 5.30 pm one yesterday ....as screen froze on me and the T never took bet...........but perhaps it was so close to the off that they had drawn a line on bets. ( they do have a rule re the time before race that an EXACTA bet should be placed etc ....not sure what that rule is ...but generally they take a bet up to a few seconds before off in practice....though their rule is far loner than a few seconds from memory ....something like 2 minutes???)
Perhaps you were too close to off when you tried to place bet? Generally i have no problems at all placing exacta bets........ Gl with bets. |
