Forgetting about juice, and assuming markets are pretty much efficient, the probability is 1 / (2^30), which is about 1 in a billion.

give it a go... good luck

take your time, be selective and dont just bet on anything

Not a hope
Report TAKE ME OUT • July 13, 2010 1:19 AM BST
1 it will never happen
2 if you get to bet 29 are you really gonna put 2.6 million on an evens shot?
Report H0rnets.1989 • July 13, 2010 1:32 AM BST
Is this correct 1p 30 bets makes 5 mill?
Report TAKE ME OUT • July 13, 2010 1:37 AM BST
i would be shocked if someone made it to day 5
Report H0rnets.1989 • July 13, 2010 1:38 AM BST
Can you even bet 1p anywhere? I know 365 have a 10p limit
Report TAKE ME OUT • July 13, 2010 2:00 AM BST
you can bet 1p here
Report Northbouy • July 13, 2010 2:47 AM BST
no commision on the calculations.  obviously only works if you are a platinum member here.  Can someone work out what us ordinary clients would get to after day 30.
Report TAKE ME OUT • July 13, 2010 6:46 AM BST
^ get a calculator and work it out yourself
Report Northbouy • July 13, 2010 6:54 AM BST

My grandfather used to be a blacksmith,
he used to tell the story about the time the price
of shoeing a horse went up from 2 bob to half a crown.
The local big farmer objected ,
so he said ' I'll charge you 1/2d for the first nail and
double it for each nail after, you can keep count as I
bang them in, and I'll only charge you for one nail- the last one'
Now, there are 7 nails in each shoe so the farmer started
to get a bit nervous after only 2 shoes...

If it can't be done, lay it. Seriously though, it has happened on the roulette wheel apparently, but no it's not feasable and you would be totally wasting your time and money :)
Report Equimine.co.uk • July 13, 2010 10:40 AM BST
I think this is correct just the difference commission makes is astonishing!

2,576,343.28 at a 5% commission rate.
Report stevies5_mufc • July 13, 2010 11:28 AM BST
i might start it with £1.00 and be on day 7 already CoolCool
Report 'MonTheRovers • July 13, 2010 1:02 PM BST
Don't Betfair round up comission, if so you'd still be on 1p after the monthLaugh
Report H0rnets.1989 • July 13, 2010 1:13 PM BST
Laugh that would be funny
Report Aunty Post • July 13, 2010 2:24 PM BST
You would in fact not pay any comms until day 5.

Then you would be hammered as you should be paying 0.8p
but it will be rounded up to 1p.

That will really hurt!
Report Northbouy • July 13, 2010 3:06 PM BST
i seriously doubt anyone would be on 5 percent after day 29.
