Anyone aware as to whether this is a market where players have to actually get on the pitch for bets to stand?
Cards will only count which are shown to players after they take the pitch for the first time... How is that vague? |

Because that is telling you the circumstances under which you will win, should a card be shown to your player after he has taken the pitch.
It does not tell you whether the bet (or lay) will be void should the player never make it on the pitch or, in the case of someone like Ferdinand, never actually make it to the World Cup. Ferdinand will not have any cards shown to him that meet that criteria, so any bet on him obviously can't possibly win. But other markets are specific, often with it bolded, in making it clear that bets do or don't stand should the player never make an appearance. |
