Ok, I've never looked at the 'Scorecast' market before so I could be missing something but surely this market is a little doolally:

I've been watching it this morning and have some money on it and it definitely seems botish. Many of the odds matched can be found at higher odds on the high street; up until a couple of hours ago, more money had been placed on this market than the main odds market; surely the book shouldn't be 101%?
I'll let you experts have a look as I'm not 100% on the rules of this market (I'm assuming 0-0 means all bets lose - assuming each player plays; I'm assuming another playing scoring first means all these bets lose, etc) but surely something's up?
For example, earlier on I was laying Fletcher unquoted at 19.5! Gone up now but the whole market's still twitchy.

I'll be honest i've never ventured into this market before but there seems a ridiculous amount matched on some of these, Jerome 1-0 is one!
Yes, the 1-0s and the Unquoteds look very strange. McFadden 1-0 is at least 26.0 on the high street but someone/something keeps taking 15-17.
I've seen something similar before but at greater margins on a market i know well. That was a Saturday morning too. It's just not knowing the market and not having all eventualities listed that's putting me off going any deeper.

I've just had McFadden 1-0 matched at 14. This is**ers.
Is it that if none of these score first you will get your money back on here but lose it on high street?
Are you certain that all players listed will be in the starting line up?
I think Benitez may be out.
I'm not sure if you get your money back if a player listed doesn't score first. It doesn't say in the Rules. I've looked deeper into the Rules and there's nothing there.

I've spoken with Betfair and if a player not listed scores first then you lose your bet (assuming your player is or has been on the pitch).

I'm not so sure. If you look at all players and all scores then you'll see that at some point a lot of money was placed. All seems to have happened at the same time and quite early on. Since then it's been a bit erratic.

Yep, it's definitely been screwed up at some point. I think it still is but going to wait for team news before deciding my next step.
Templeton Peck, if you think Benitez will not play recalculate the market without the Benitez options. Then consider if laying is good option.

The market's definitely screwed. I wonder what's causing it.
Too late, I stupidly went to the football forum to try and get the market sorted so I could green up. Although no responses so doubt they realise.
does anyone know how much is usually traded on these scorecast markets?
I had a look at Man City earlier and it was about £300! I'm actually getting a bit freaked out by what's happening.
there's £669 matched so far on man city-villa and whilst i understand that this is the early sky game it seems a hell of a lot matched for a market such as this!
i know why this is happening - bot confused with 100%
i wonder if it's the bots first, and last, venture into the scorecast market ;). I'm sure it wont be the MSE anyway ;)

Oh, if only I went with my instincts. You do sometimes get things that are too good to be true and I've not taken anywhere near enough advantage.

Do betfair go with the press association on goalscorers. I notice they Jerome as the goalscorer
will the bot owner venture into the scorecast market again with that Benitez goal ;) i've looked at the in play games and not much traded i wonder why this match was the chosen one
For the record, Benitez 3-2 is my biggest red. Although could back 3-2 score to green up. Decisions, decisions...
Again for the record, I backed 3-2 scoreline so can't lose now. Although will be pretty much £0 if it finishes 3-2.
A guy on the football forum is saying he's been on it all night and stood to make six figures. I have no idea if he's a reliable sort or not so could be hogwash.

If this is going to cost Betfair money, you can guarantee that they are thinking long and hard about voiding the market.
I just see absolutely no justification for voiding the market.
I wont let it rest if they did void, and I hope others would follow suit.

I didn't have a large position, but I'll be absolutely disgusted if they void (presumably because they're protecting a large customer (or themselves) from a big loss) because of what it implies for future markets.

That's good news. I wonder if it was Betfair or a bot owner who screwed up. I've not seen anything like it and just wish I'd made more of it. Still, a nice start to the day.
Just realised that the winning combination was quoted.
This means that the bot proberbly made a profit.

Huge amounts matched early on at outside prices, markets stabilized after that.
