I recently, as im sure many of you have, logged on to the betfair casino to take advantage of the "free £20 trial bonus" which I alas lost

However I then logged on with one of my other accounts and was again awarded this bonus excellent I though, so I tried it with my third account and the same thing happened again.

These two bonuses I was able to play through and transfer small profits at the end to my main betfair accounts, which I then used to wager on the snooker.

After collecting a few wins I went to withdraw the money (£190) from one account, and shortly after both my accounts were closed by betfair, and I was told that this was because i had exploited their casino bonus scheme.

Im clearly thinking my chances of seeing this money again are minimal but any advice would be appreciated? I never asked ffor the bonus, they gave it to me! And the winnings from my snooker bets were obviously won from another individual, not betfair, so do they have any right in keeping this?

thanks in advance..............

My initial reaction was..... Look Down, If you see a shoe or two then the answer is yes.

Then after reading the post I see this is more of a T&C question than a Limb count so I suggest you read the T&C's of the promo to see where you stand ( or not if Leg count = 0 )

Just download the casino and log in and they credit ur account with it, u have to play through 800 quid before u can withdraw though, and then they will probably find some way to take it off of ya still!

I can't see how they can keep your snooker winnings. They should return those minus your stakes.

I cannot see how Betfair can do anything more than recover 2x£20 from your multiple accounts. Anything more than that is pretty much stealing!!

There is however a moral to this story. DON'T PLAY THEIR POXY CASINO GAMES! (Or arcade games or exchange games) in my view, only Betfair will ever win in the long run.

I have recieved an e-mail saying that as I 'exploited' their casino offer, they will not be releasing funds and the accounts will remain closed.

I have asked them where exactly the funds will be goiing and put to them that they are 'exploiting' me in the same manner by taking funds they shouldnt.

If im not gonna get the money back then surely it should be returned to the individuals who laid my bets, rather than betfair fat cats keeping it for themselves.

I await a reply.........................

I should also ask them what law they think entitles them to withhold your money. As you rightly say, you didn't win it off Betfair, you won it off somebody else, using Betfair, so it's not theirs to withhold!

Very simple, notify them that they have 48 hours to return your money less the two lots of bonuses to which you were not entitled to, if they refuse to do so, take them to court!
