Very puzzling

Layed @ SP Danzoe in the 2.40 place market at Yarmouth. When the market when in play it recorded that I had backed Watch Chain @ SP.
I know that there is some cross matching used when calculating SP but this not the same bet. The result for me was the same as both bets lost. I have tried to 'phone Betfair but they is no option on their menu for this type of query

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I have just Emailed Betfair. The system would not send it until I confirmed that I knew the difference between BACK and LAY. I am advising them about a possible fault, the least they could do is to show me some respect.
