Guys, i've just got an iphone and logged into betfair.

When I try to place a lay bet, against most of the lay odds it's asking me to "offer" odds?

What's that all about then. When I used my Nokia N96 all i did was picked my lay odds and placed the bet.

Is there something i'm missing in some sort of preferences/settings?

Thanks

the Ibetmate app is the business. Makes the site much more straightforward and accessible.

I concur 100%. With ibetmate site is very easy to use. It costs about £3 btw

Links directly to your betfair account and their api....Apart from no graphs verg good and certainly better than betfair's own app
