Does anyone know what the average percentage of total money traded is done in running?
I noticed in the place market for the 2.35 at Newbury about 201,000 was traded before the race and therefore about 11,000 in running. Would that be a low percentage (around 5% in running) for the place market or about the norm?

you need to consider what 'risk' is traded also IMO
an even 200K the evens fav, is not the same as 200K bet at 1.01 not for the punters or betfair (com) |
