Derbyshire Racing currently have 3 horses in training with the shrewd John Mackie based in South Derbyshire and should anyone on Betfair have an interest in taking a small share in one of our horses the details are below.

We have had a good following on Betfair since I set the syndicate up in 2005 with our first horse Choristar and we currenly have some shares still available in our latest aquisition the 3 year old filly Aegean Destiny.

She is a very well bred former Richard Hannon trained filly that has won 1 race to date at Leicester over 7f and been placed 4 times, including a sht hd 2nd at Ffos Las over 1m last September. As she is bred to be a middle distance plus filly we consider that whatever she did last season as a two year old she will improve considerably as a 3 year old+ as she matures and races over longer trips.

She is by the Group 1 winning sire Beat Hollow (by Sadlers Wells out of a mare by Dancing Brave) and is out of an unraced dam from the excellent Eva Luna and Media Luna family, which were top notch middle distance fillies. The family have produced the likes of Brian Boru and 2000 Guineas and Derby fancy Workforce. The grandam Petralona has produced the listed flat and jumps winner Big Moment and classy but ill fated Pressgang, 2nd in the Cheltenham Champion Bumper.

We think she will develop into a usefull middle distance filly on the flat in 2010 and possibly make a juvenile hurdler if she takes to jumping.

We have shares of 2.5% upwards available priced at £175 per 2.5% upfront and £40 per month to cover all training and racing expenses. Shares of 5% and 10% are also available with discounts on the momnthy fee for shares of 10%+.

If you may be interested in getting involved in our small friendly syndicate please take a look at our website

or email directly via

We have a yard visit taking place tomorrow at John Mackie's yard if anyone may be interested in finding out more - local track Uttoxeter is also staging the Midlands National if anyone wants to make a day of it.

Best Regards

Dave

Aegean Destiny now pencilled in to make her debut for Derbyshire Racing at Nottingham on 27th April in a 1m2f 3 year old handicap. We have just been waiting for her to come in her coat before entering her.

We still have 10% available if any other forum members would like to get involved - see the thread above for details.

Our other 2 horses in training, Arizona John and Sphere, are also set to run in the next few weeks and our broodmare Impeccable Guest should be foaling next week (in foal to Lucky Story) so an exciting Spring and Summer awaits.

Regards

Dave

No no no, you have this all wrong.

1. Set up a new username

2. Post a thread title "Has anyone heard of Derbyshire Racing?"

3. Content of thread should say "I hear they've recently aquired 3 year old Aegean Destiny. Is this horse any good? Does anyone know the benefits of sharing in such a beast? Do Derbyshire racing have a good track record? (pun intended)

4. Wait a day until someone replies with "This is nothing more than spam you mugs, can't you see that"

5. Log in with your Derbyshire Racing account and reply with "It's not spam, I'd never heard of the poster in question, but now you mention it, we HAVE recently aquired Aegean Destiny and I can tell you this horse is a fast bugger. Also note that the guy who replied saying it's spam couldn't be more wrong. let me tell you a bit about us........
