Mugs talk fractions. Smart players think decimals.

What does the team think?

No plankton to reply please.

14/1? Lay me a grand to seventy, then? Can I have ''the bits?''

versus

Took up a position @ 3.05, closed out for a profit @ 2.98 - go me!

Soooooooooooooooooo tough.
Report sweetchildofmine April 10, 2010 10:46 AM BST

Oh, sorry, missed the bit about no plankton to reply. Disregard my input.

In order I prefer:

American (by quite a long way)

Hong Kong
Euro (Decimal)
Fractional
Malay
Report Lori April 10, 2010 10:52 AM BST
I also suspect Malay will be my #2 within a few months as it's probably the best of the other four.

I have reason to believe that you talk to somebody sensible on IM Mashy. So my plan is to treat you gently. Even though you do come across as a complete loser.

If we were chatting face to face in real life - DEFINITELY.

Even anonymously online, it's a concern.

Of course Tigger. My money is on when you bet you don't think decimals or fractions. Am I right?

Did you get angry with a jogger on the road earlier today Pip?
Report Treble_Underscore April 10, 2010 12:58 PM BST
agree with Lori. American is the sharp players choice - more ticks for your buck than any aside from hk/malay with the 3rd decimal place, of course ;)
Report Alex the old wrinkled retainer April 10, 2010 1:17 PM BST
I have always thought about how many decimal points people work to. I calculate and round to 3 but have to work with 2.
Report Lori April 10, 2010 1:19 PM BST
I vary between 2 and 3 depending on my mood, the market , and my percieved accuracy.
Report Alex the old wrinkled retainer April 10, 2010 2:12 PM BST
Sometimes I go to 4.

Whether to go to 2, 3 or 4 must be a mood thing. Never less than 2 though.

It is a strange old life.
