It is one of the biggest jobs in the betting industry and the newspaper is a betting paper so I suppose it's logical.

There is difference to a paper that gives industry news like Campaign and one that pitched at general public.
Suppose it has been in decline for years, I have only bought it once or twice. Not interested in horses. |

i am a punter that likes a bet ... and i can't say that type of thing interests me at all look, imho it is not the worst paper in the world +'ves cards layout / detail bloodstock news ante post prices summary tv sport schedule general bits and bobs at the back certain news items / trainer / owner quotes etc enough there to make me think about buying it BUT the constant tipping everywhere you look .. which is doubled up with all the 'we had a winner yesterday' type headlines etc cloggs it all up add in far to much bookie driven nonense and at 1.70 or whatver it is now a pop i think it is becoming more of a paper for bookies to have in their shops rather than joe public to buy himself in the morning only my opinion though interested in the thoughts others |

I agree with you about milking the odd winner that they tip, that's very annoying. I'm not a racing fan so it's almost not worth my while purchasing but i'm interested in industry news and sports so buy but i'm obviously not getting value for money.

The headlines and front pages are getting more and more ridiculous. There are still some good insights and interviews, but too often the paper is padded out by some over hyped guff.
