Contemplating a few different things at the moment and one of them is the area of trading. Now obviously I've greened out/cut losses etc in the past but never proper trading. What software do you guys use?
I currently have a 9-5 job so I'd be able to devout around 10 hours p/w I'd say. Also my starting bank would be around the £1k mark. What strategy do I adopt? Can you link me to some good articles etc? What sort of profits should I be aiming for with this bank?
what sports are you in too? Some sports lend themselves better to trading than others i.e tennis, cricket, darts
At the end of the day trading is still gambling so you better have some edge or your unlikely to succeed. Good Luck

As much as possible. Preferably over £5k/week.

Stick to microstakes initially whatever your bank, it's easy to get in over your head trading.
Stick to games you know and can read. Most of all stay clear of cricket, that ways lies the poorhouse.

dont agree ror...cricket is where its at ...and as its a long term thing, its easier to get out if its turning against you....the volatility is great, ten ticks for a boundary, 5 ticks for a dot ball and as for a wicket???

Oh I completely agree the trading in cricket is amazing, but you'll get hammered if you don't know much about cricket. Don't forget for every winner there's a loser!
A little bit of being able to follow a cricket game helps identify times when the market under/over value teams for great trading, but trading it "blind" is a mug's game.
That's why a if you want a trial by fire hop in on the IPL action, around 35-40 games left, with 1 or 2 games a day, and we're now seeing up to £8mil matched on the match odds for each game.
But I'd recommend watching the games and markets without trading that while trading something more 'tame' or a sport you know.
