MATE THAT I KNOW PAID £1500 FOR A DENTAL IMPLANT, ONLY TO HEAR SOMEONE CLAIM TODAY AT WORK THEY GOT IT DONE FREE WHILE THEY WERE CLAIM JSA..

i didnt think implants which are worth £1500 given away like that on the nhs!

if you want to know a really good joke, have a look at the t.v's they provide patients in aberdeen

my gran who is 90 is in hospital up there in an old nightingale type ward. went up to sort some things out for her the other day and enquired about a radio for her. oh no, we can't do that, but we can provide her with a t.v. brilliant, i think. then i look at it. NASA astronauts would have a hard time working it never mind a 90 year old woman.

and the funniest thing is....they charge you 5 quid a day to use it.

Can I get any help for dental implants from the NHS?

The NHS doesnt usually pay for dental implant treatment although there are exceptions to this. They will pay for implants if the patient shows that there is a clear medical need. In other words, they will not pay for something which you have chosen to have for lifestyle reasons.
