Thanks for going to the trouble of tracking our selections.

I must confess that on Wednesday and Thursday my selections were simply the first named horse in the Racing Post betting forecast that had not been tipped by any of the Selection Box tipsters.

By the way, that's an approach to 'big races' that I first spotted when Golan won the 2000 Guineas back in 2001.

On Friday I changed tack (due to a caffeine induced haze) with disasterous results.

If I'd stuck with my Wed/Thursday method I would only have had just the one placed horse (French Opera in the 5.15) so overall it didn't make a great deal of difference.

Anyway, thanks again. As Zipper would say, it's only a bit of fun.
