Today I took up a Betfair offer ...free multiples bet, terms being minimum of 5 selections over this weekend, stake returned if accumulator loses.
Looking at my matched bets, there appears to be insufficient record of the bets I placed. Four of the five selections were teams to win ...they are mentioned, however, the fifth selection was two teams to draw. The matched bet simply says "draw" with no indication of who the teams are.
I don't expect the multiple to come up, but that's not the point. If by some miracle it does come up I have absolutely no proof of which two teams I had to draw.... btw Bolton v Wigan.
I've looked all round the site and can't find a more detailed record of the bet. Any ideas ?
Btw I'll keep you posted as to whether or not the bet actually does get refunded if/when the bet loses.
Still a bit dubious of placing multiples where a draw is one of the selections. How worried would you be if you'd got that dream acca, looked at the matched bets and just saw the word "draw" and no mention of the teams involved ?

If I bet with a bookmaker I print all my receipts ...I don't want the possibility of a dispute in as far as what I thought I'd seen on a receipt. If I have it in my posession it can't be disputed.
In 9 years as a customer of Betfair I've never felt the need to print or save matched bets. With multiples I now do feel the need to ...the irony is that saving a matched bet with the word "draw" on it and no teams stated protects me not one iota.
I don't care that BF know what my selection is ...I want to know what it is ...moreover I want to be able to prove what it is.
Especially as my counterparty is no longer another customer ...it's the exchange !

To be honest their multiples product is horribly uncompetitive compared to:
a) the asian bookies
b) the low margin "american-style" bookies.
Won't mention the names on here, otherwise its probably bye bye thread, but you should know what I mean.
BF take a lower price on all backs and then charge 5% commish. Those sites do none of that. The worst it gets is the asians, if a team is 1.30 they might be 1.30 for the "parlay", they might be 1.29. Compare the two and there's no comparison.
Horse racing multis are a different kettle though, granted. If you are doing sports accas with no horses, I wouldn't be betting them unless I had a money back offer or similar (which I appreciate that you did, Hank!)
