What sort of staking plan should I follow with this bank now Iam up and running again ?

Always protect your own money (your start bank of 350)
From your start bank each bet should be level stakes at the minimum bet for your country. With the profits, bet 0.5% of the profits for every 5% edge you have So if you have ascertained an edge of 15% after deductions of commission You would bet the minimum plus 1.5% of your profits Your profit is 710 so 710*1.5% = 10.6 add to the minimum in UK ~ 2 = next bet of 12.6 All wins and losses to be credited to Profits column. If the profit column gets to negative your bets then would be 2.00 the minimum until showing a profit again. Keep protecting your own money and compound the profits according to your edge. |

Hi Compound How much do you charge? It´s a serious question. I have a great strike rate, but am worried I will lose my edge. Can you advise me on staking if I show you my last 3 months P/L to make it even more profitable?? |

Btw Compound.
Don't you think it's a bit early estimating what edge you have gained after only 3 days of betting ( in this chappie's case ) ? Also shouldn't your strike rate should always play a role in attempting to protect your capital. If it is slow then you need more capital and vice versa. Just throwing in a few incidental thoughts for comment. |

I think some newbies may mistake a winning streak of guessing correctly, to be an edge when it's just a lucky streak. An edge (to me at least) is a long term or temporary flaw in a market or series of bets that represents value, giving you a slightly better than true return.

Started with a bank of £350. Turned that into £1300. Withdrew £1000 Invsted £200 on Cheltenham on Master Minded, Kalahari King, Big Zeb, Big Bucks, Tidal Bay, Karabak, Kauto Star and Deman. So covered by stake on the outsiders in the race. Bank now £100. Have I made the right move? |
