went to vegas last year with us airways for 350 quid return. looking at going again in a few weeks, but prices around 1k mark. anyone know cheap airlines, or websites which may have offers on? i know its easter traffic now, but must be some deals going?!
You should be able to get around 600 gbp though, despite all that, try getting the flight direct with the operator (virgin if you want a direct, not sure if you want it non direct but should be even cheaper)

I think Virgin is now the only airline to fly direct from the UK. There used to be a business class only airline (Maxjet, I think) running an old 767 but it went bankrupt. However, changing at LAX isn't really that much of a hassle.

Virgin and BA (dangerous at the mo though booking with BA) fly direct -- I've booked April 25th to May 3rd with Virgin direct, 550 quid all in, my advice keep checking the websites, prices change almost daily!

I'd stick with Virgin, booked the whole holiday with them last year, everything was fine no problem at all, going again this year in November, most likely do same again.
