Is betangel as good as they claim ? Have been looking at their website but but there seems to be too much "waffle"and not enough basic info on trading.

Often these things are all a matter of taste. The Toy is free and does provide the basics. If you want the bells and whistles the betangel could be for you, although it does cost.
I prefer betangel, but mostly as I've been using it for so long. There are regular updates and it has bookmaking, dutching, and auto-trading. |

I have used both The Geeks Toys and Bet Angel, but I Would always recommend Gruss as the best api out there.
