I met a mate in the pub last night. He said a friend had been offerd a 'licensed' piece of software for £1000. Only 1000 licences issued in the UK & 1000 in Ireland.

I said how can the UK government issue licenses in Ireland? He then said they must have an agreement with the Irish government as well.

He said it trawls thru the odds of 70 bookies, & picks out prices so that you can't lose, & it places the bets for you.

I told him he wouldn't get on, or just get one one part on.

He said the software places all the bets similtaneously, and you can watch it working using 'Firefox Splitscreen'.

He said that the bookies will recognise that you are a license holder, by the odd amounts you will stake, ie £623.14, and that they are happy to take these bets, because 2 out of 3 will lose, and because there are so many bookies involved, you won't be winning with the same bookie.

When he mentioned the Financial Services Authority, I was convinced. I'm signing up.

nevermind you've answered it already.. 'fsoft' they have been phoning me last few days although the price offered to me was 10k not 1...
After watching the sample trading i'll be honest and say it looks a useful piece of software but not worth the amount of money asked and nothing you can't get for free/with a bit of time.

I also questioned/laughed at getting 15,000 on at a bookies and was told the same that as you are losing with 1/2bookies it would be no problem.

They have made a huge balls up in their sample video tho and 'risk free' it sure as hell is not.

the video is behind a passworded site which has my email as username so dont want to give that out, i also dont want to give them more publicity really.

It basically just tells you of arbs and what bookies offer the best odds on events, nothing groundbreaking.

I have already given part of the business name so shouldnt be too hard to find but like i said even from the sample video they have made a big/very simple mistake which if someone took them at face value without much knowledge of arbing could potentially cost them thousands.

Why not just put the site up and we can take a look around it.
By:

because its passworded and nothing at all on the site without the password and i dont fancy getting in trouble on here/spamming their site but if you combine fsoftsystems and a com would be the place.

total, 100% loada shyte. Now, thing is, technically, it's not a scam though, as, as claimed by the sales guys, it does seek out arbitrage oppertunities. However, you would need to be placing 10's of thousands of bets per dayto mak this sortware viable. Also, bullsh1t about the bookies no minding you arbitraging - They will shut you down in**ing time.

One born every minute. Oddschecker is free.

Do these clowns reckon their software is worth £20 million (1000 X 2 X £10k) I can't see the bookies giving that back to the mugs who buy it.

I can recall the phone call from some years ago from a bookie I was sat with my mate, he phoned through for a bet and was actually told:

"I think you are doing an arb mate, so your not having the bet".

In any case over time there are a finite number of bookies, and even if you win from one and lose to another, you will to be a winner with all of them in the end, and they won't like that.

Plus bookies websites probably need to be screen scrapes and every time things change the software would need to be updated, likely not free.

Friend of mine got it. invited me but if it works why sell it. so no thanks. Took him almost six monhs to get a refund. it does a job in the main, though when teams are playing each other twice in the same week like fa cup and league you can get badly stung,as the arb is there but not for the same match. The examples given are false as there is no way you can get £1000 on a match as my mate found out with a bookie as not only are you backing it so is all the others with the system. My mate only got money back cos he had contacts in the right place. So i doubt most will, and when you go trace it you will find yourself ringing offices in London, Dublin and Austrailia.
Chap at the end of it was known for this sort of thing.
Just think if you had a goose laying golden eggs why would you sell it.
(goose with a terminable illness excepted, then maybe sell it)

His first go on it was £1000 on team A.
went to back team B, allowed £70 on team B.
Cut it to a small loss and got out
