I'll try and be brief.I guess my assertion of 10 out of 15 and 6 out of 7 seem most suspicious. Well let me tell you that I'M SUSPICIOUS.I cant see how with even a small sample showing enormous promise like this can a system possibly continue.!!.Its akin to finding a sackful of money, the first thing yo think is that its probably counterfeit. As i say i cant see how it can continue, logic dictates that it will have a long losing run, or turn bad. Still if anybody wants to nominate themselves as a checker,i'll gladly e- mail them the lay and we can see how it goes. Next i must point out that assertions by people that" i'm having a laugh" are wide of the mark. Its taken me 3 days to get over the exhausting effort of typing,[ i cant type fast!] and takes me away from the exhausting research into this years Cheltenham. I do wish that some people would refrain from turning the forum into a zoo.If people want a laugh then go on a comedy site forum, and leave this place free for people who want to achieve great things, even better why dont people make some money FIRST,THEN have a laugh,or answer a post seriously, and then at the end put in a funny quip. So, can we go on from here? As for systems DFC IRONMAN asks if i give points for C&D,the number of wins etc.O dear im afraid that is an extremely simplistic system that wouldnt need a computer.Altho i take notice of form im afraid that it would only occupy about half a percent of the system. To put it simply if giving points to horses based on form is a system then im talking about 100 seperate systems.I use them to find a cluster formation that gives the location of the best handicap official rating for a specific race. Finding an equation that works takes time.It roughlytakes a half minute to see if an equation works,if it doesnt then you move onto another one,you can tell how many i get thru in 12 hours, and at 61 its getting exhausting, thus the questions re computers.Remember, its the correct data you use that gives you success, you musnt be limited to the form book only!. Look ill end here,Pinza And Teddy Sherringham will im sure vouch for me as an honest soul who isnt a scam artist.i hope that some of you can help me as re computers, or useful sites that people can suggest. You know what its like, they use comp speak [now how are they going to sell these things to the broad public if they dont describe what they can do].ill leave it there[im knackered,Cheltenham!!] apologies for punc etc and thanks to DFC for his input.

I think it's because nobody has the slightest inkling what you're talking about.
That in itself doesn't tend to be a problem around here, but on top of that, nobody gives a crap as it appears you're either selling a system, selling drugs, or trying to chat up Danielle Llloyd's ex boyfriend.

PD - you say - "As for systems DFC IRONMAN asks if i give points for C&D,the number of wins etc.O dear im afraid that is an extremely simplistic system that wouldnt need a computer.Altho i take notice of form im afraid that it would only occupy about half a percent of the system." =======================================================
The factors I mentioned are "simple" ones....but they were given to indicate that it is down to you to nominate specific FACTORS that you want a computer to rate when the race card is input to system etc.
As my system has over 100 FACTORS I can assure you that my computerised system is NOT simplistic!
If all you want it for is to LAY favourites.......then as there are few ODDS ON favs daily surely you can do an assessment manually??????

Most odds on favourites are relatively easy to assess as to whether to lay them or not......and you don't really need a complicated system to rate such races IMO.......
There were 4 odds on favs this afternoon , excluding ARAB racing, and only 1 lost ........was the only one I layed out the 4....kinda stood out really in a simple race.
If you have a system that can get higher odds winners ....not lays......then that would be impressive. Finding horses to LAY in WIN market is pretty straight forward...........

DFC,i'm really sorry,i kept looking at my post and hoped that you wouldnt think i was dissing your comments, thats why i put some thanks at the end.I know it was simplistic, but my system may take too long to load up?Perhaps the manual approach is workable with a team of say 10 trusted people. I now realise how difficult it is to speak on here and still protect a system.Ive always thought initially that a team af ten trusted people could really do well similar to the success i used to have about 3 years ago,i.e. 7 bets on Royal Ascot saturday,3 winners, 48-1 tote,40-1 and 6-1,[Young Mick year],but the question of who do you trust still arises. One way round this would be to give each person individually 7 or eight equations for them to do,and to report in to me their findings.I could then give everyone the final selections, thus keeping it safe as without all the equations it wouldnt work well enough. My age [61] is stopping me going the full yard, thus reducing profit,so the need for computers or some help. So i'm faced with these problems.Any suggestions welcome.

I am a bit knackered myself tonight .....still recovering from a night out last FRIDAYYYYYY!
I'm certainly not interested in a "joint venture"........just think you must computerise your system. Surely you have a friend who does programming ? etc etc..........( Mind you it can take YEARS to get someone to do it more as a favour ......otherwise you would need to PAY someone to get it done fairly quiclky etc )

Pity about the joint venture bit, wouldnt have cost anything,i dont charge.Help would have been payment enough. Lets all sleep on it.

Pipedreamer, I'll be 61 this year so I know how the old brain slows down!
I run a few small programs that I've written myself. My magnum opus is a full scale trading program with a ladder interface but I stil can't get the hang of trading. My smaller programs lift the runners and riders from "somewhere"on the net, do the calculations I've taught them then place any bets.
I'm always looking for extra, of course, and if you've got something interesting then maybe we can talk. No money to change hands in either direction, just mutual benefit.
Whatever you decide, good luck.

This is why a friend is possibly one way to try to "keep it secret".........
It is very hard though to explain what you require so that a computer programmer can understand what you require......well that is what I found anyway!
Having spent so many years devising a system to find/highlight good odds winners.........I now can usually look at any race and find a horse to lay .......and get it right often enough to make good income....without using system as such , OTHER THAN MY BRAIN.......because most relevant factors kind of stand out re where the likely winner will come from etc.
I suggest you try LAYING a horse in races you know about where your system "works"..........and if it does "work" you should make profit ......if you can do this by just looking at a race....Normally takes me just a few minutes to find a suitable lay........they tend to stand out!
I started to do this 23 days agao and am over £3,000 in profit. I am now going for a profit of approximately £300 a day .....as I do most races.....Just trying to encourage you to try this .....BUT YOU WILL NEED A GOOD BANK SIZE ...SAY £2,000 TO START......
If your "system" is soundly based you should make profit ..... GL

Gallivanter and Dfc,do e-mail me on jimwalkw@hotmeal.com,if you so wish. DFC,prior to 10 years ago i used to be a very good reader of pace in a race and could have made a lot of money in-running.Since then ive seen some strange things take place in a race,a bit odd if you ask me,Basically, form has taken a knock, horses esp in the big handicaps have been winning that are definetely not the same type that used to win them, leaving many people perplexed and suspicious.Even so, i agree with you,and i feel that laying odds on offers the best value, because no longer can you say that the rag in the race cant win. If punters lay horses at big prices theyre asking for trouble.I have done a nice trick in races where ive done my own fancy and used my system horse,a supposed rag,for the forecast, and done very well in that sphere, sorry im rambling all over the place. Perhaps we can help each other to make more money,as you've gleaned ive an unusual method of winner/laying,and ive always thought that the more input people put in the better, some things can be,a sort of,listen to a persons take on a race, use it or throw it away.Hope to here from you both.

Some races where I am fairly confident a horse won't win I will lay at odds....when it is outsider. However, the odds are usually for such horses under 30s BF. Here are some of odds etc layed yesterday -

As you will see I will adjust stakes where I feel it is prudent to do so........or I am feelinga wee bit knackered and just ease down a gear or two towards the end of day when in profit.
Probably above is a reasonable example of what I have been doing re horses selected at thoses odds. Only being doing this 23 days.......andi upped staking from £24 a race to £48 ...4 days ago.......
Trusts this helps.

DFC,well done with your lays.If you do the flat i could give you something that eliminates horses from a race as regards winning. It could help you to confirm the strength of your original picks. Freddie, these lays are horses that i deem [the system picks]layable, are all odds on b4 the tapes go up,any price as long as theyre odds on. Its probably around 8 a month, sometimes 2 weeks gap then 8 in the next 2 weeks, could well be why its been missed.Slowly slowly catchee monkey,or,dont go looking for them, wait for them to come to you.

freddiewilliams - You can just lay 1 horse for that day to gain £36 is one way...........and it has to be one where you are pretty certain it won't win unless unusual events happen in a race to more than 3 horses in with chance of winning.
Don't think anything is "easy" with horse racing......or a "best" way to lay.......just depends what you feel "comfortable" with.
I know outsiders win......but remember I am likely to know which outsiders have a good chance on the day, so I am very unlikely to select one.......unless it is a short field race ...say 7 runners.....where the type of race makes it more unpredictable ...say a MARES HANDICAP race on HEAVY/SOFT going( that is in between going!!!) over Hurdles.........
I will lay horses that win.....usually it is down to me "getting it wrong" in that the horse "could" win......and not what it should be ...the horse is very very unlikely to win ( it might go close to winning....but won't win ) .........
The 24 shot finished last ........and at no point in race did it look likely to win IMO.....There were more than 1 factor that made it more likely other horses would have a strong chance to win in that race..............I agree occasionally such horses will win......but that is racing/gambling and just have to accept the loss when they occur....now that is easier to say than do!!!!!
Generally i do try to focus on horses that many will think can win....and their odds tend to be reasonable odds to lay at....BUT SOMETIMES I AM LAZY AND JUST SELECT A HORSE ( HAVING MANY NEGATIVES AGAINST IT) THAT WON'T WIN IMO.....WITHOUT TRYING TO FIND A LOWER ODDS HORSE IN SAME RACE TO LAY)
Better get back to racing....I layed outsider in first ....NOT BECAUSE IT WAS OUTSIDER THOUGH ...BECAUSE IT WAS UNLIKELY TO WIN.
Gl with bets.
Not laying anything in 1.50 backed Powell one place only.
