Hi guys am looking to get a mortgage but seem to be struggling,have done ok outta betfair but all i have is amounts going into my bank from b/f and as its not taxable dont need an accountant,but my enquiry about getting a mortgage went to appeal twice then refused has anyone any ideas(serious please)what the best way doing what im doing is of getting a mortgage or is it just not possible in the current climate am willing to put down 75%.txs in advance.

With that much deposit you should be able to get one, but maybe you'll need to
go to a broker (?)

Thats the route id already tried without success,just wondered if anybody had managed to get a mortgage in this current climate without accounts.

Consider going down the buy to let mortgage route

They rarely check if you actually live there and the criteria are different

At the moment, you are still effectively self certification even with 75% deposit ..and that is a 'No-No' for a residential mortgage

FSA changing the regulations. Since the announcement in October 2009, all of the major Self Cert lenders have pulled their products off the market. However, if you contact those below they can get other sources to lend.
Can't have been any kickback for your broker?
