General Betting

Or at least what i determine as value odds.....
Ive been steadily gaining experence within the fooball markets over the past few years. My main betting has been within the outright markets/ correct scores.
Within this thread i am going to lay, mainly when a team has taken the lead (if i feel there is some sort of value within the bet).
I will be looking to martingale the bets to ensure a profit, if i hit 4 losing bets then i will accept the loss and move on. I have sampled nearly 200 matches in 2010 and have only hit the unfortunate 4 losses on 3 occasions. M overall profit from the above 200 matches, approximately, is 191pts.
From today alone i could have made nearly 25pts profit, the bets that fell within my thoughts were Fulham (@ 1.58), Salzburg (@1.6), Ajax (@1.4), Benfica (@1.4), the only losing bet thus far was Club Bruges (@1.7).
Anyways, enough of me rambling on, i will be looking to post thebets up over the weekend.

TOTGA, I assume the idea is to trade out or level out for no loss when the opponents equalize - otherwise the Fulham bet was a loser?

Hi JAILER, Ive always been here, just been admiring from afar though!! Hope you are well.
PJM, i dnt intend to trade out in all honesty unless i feel the need to, yes Fulham would have been a losing bet, there were a few of the 7.45/8.00 o'clock kick offs that would have been winners though, some nicely profitable ones also... My fallback with all this is that i am allowing myself 4 losing bets before admitting defeat with that phase of bets, then starting again, i do honestly feel that there is potential with this. My overall aim is to achieve 100pts profit per week, or 10% of my bank (1000pts). :-) |

Good luck with it then! Be careful though, martingale type systems are very punishing if you hit a bad patch

Im hving some difficulty using the forum!, think my comp is playing p.
Basically i have layed Duisburg @ (Beilefeld 0-1) and also Union Berlin (2v2). Will post up results etc later when i can get my connection working better |
