I'm pretty bad at keeping Tennis to the tennis forum, golf to the golf forum, cricket to the cricket forum and so on, and although it upsets the regulars, I'm not the only one.
There is quite a large percentage of the forum who trade "whatever is on today" and the forum chatter often goes through several events in the course of one thread, which understandably upsets the regulars in that forum.
How about a "live events" forum so that we could have threads that drift between different sports. A lot of these discussions are often very valuable as one person will have a good idea about today's golf, another the tennis and so on but acts as clutter if it's discussed on a thread about a cricket test.

Upsetting the regulars is just part and parcel of the fun of the forums. Just keep posting on the wrong forums while you wait for paint to dry. ;)
Lori, try the other sports forum. It is like a ghost town over there excepting for freds that should be appropriate to other forums.
