General Betting

I have had bet with my friend, a bet which i know i have won but do not know how to prove it. The wager is worth 20 quid which i will donate to charity if somebody can explain to me how to prove it to him on paper.
12 horses, 4 horses in 4 seperate races and 8 horses in another 4 races (2 in each).
I need to be able to prove how many 4folds there would be in this bet.
The answer is 321, as i have tried placing the bet online but i get too frustrated when starting to write it out.(p.s; He is disputing that the online firm is wrong too lol)
Any help ??????????????????????

try another firm? surely if there are more than 1 firm stating the same amount then they cant all be wrong!

i have to be able to produce it on paper so he can't possibly prove me wrong cos he says he has the working and his maths are normally spot on (obviously not in this case tho).

All i know mate is there are 70 possible outcome of 4 from 8 .
The only way i could do it is to write every combo down , and next to it write the total number of bets which should add up to 321. Some bright spark will get you the answer on here . |
