Strikes me that we're getting more and more outages these days without any explanation other than "upgrade implementation ".
Would it not be better and make more sense to have dedicated sites for sports,poker,exchange games,arcades and financials.
I can't see any reason for having the games etc on a sports betting site other than convenience so if moving them to their own websites and hosting them on a separate database could be an answer to these blasted outages then it should be done imo.

Why does the forum go down when the rest of it goes down? It's still too tightly integrated imo.
Absolutely but the cynic in me would suggest that betfair want to keep it tightly integrated and there's a strong business reason for doing so.
By keeping them all under one roof you are in fact making it much easier for people to quickly move across to the casino and arcade sections where betfair arent reliant on commission and can maximise their profit.
