1, not got the readies, .2, the pay out comes off their shops profits affecting potential bonus. |

The first point shouldn't be a problem but the 2nd was the only reason I thought they might not.

point 2 not a prob if laddies and over 1k as the manager would just phone finance to transfer the payout liability to their shops profit to the shop you placed the bet

If they try and fob you off saying they don't have the money just tell them you will come back Monday for it and if they don't have it ready for you you will be ringing head office to complain. That is assuming it is just a few hundred quid and not 20k. ;)
