2 days to go for my first full month of money down after the "challenge"
i dont get on here much now, so will give an update now and then..
Overall results since challenge started, 86/93 92.5%
I have had 3 winners this month , in the first half, one of which was DANISIMAR, which to my horror i "layed" it at 12.0 and it was first time out !! it was unforgivable as i do NOT lay first time out, it was pure and simple a lapse of concentration, it wouldnt have been on my radar, but i learn from it and will not happen again, i must have gone through my method as usual, but been looking at a different horse. . . I then had 2 winners in 3 days, but i know its very unusal for that to happen and know it throws up decent runs, so kept the faith..
Anyway, just need the next 2 days to go well and i will be happy with first month, but will be looking to improve on that for april..

cheers trev, i found myself a week behind to get level at one stage, like the challenge, so it is pleasing to once again recover, not counting chickens, i have 2 important days, but im happy with it,

Interesting to hear 200 - keep updating us. Are you concerned about the forthcoming flat season or is your system proven on all formats?
oh aye, as regars points for month, currently 12.8, but slight confusion earlier in month regarding a change in strategy, money points is 10.8 , but there has also been some days off with cheltenham, easter etc, so again, im very happy.. logging off now, tc
hi vagabond, im not concerned about the flat, im still picking lays from the flat in my overall list but monitoring them beofre i actually pick one, they are working well, despite the usual potential pitfalls of the first few weeks of flat.. so all is good. :)
i have picked several AW, which i never used to do, because they work really well.. even got a better strike rate than the NH, which is in its 90's

Yup. I layed Dansimar @ 12.00 as well - Only lost 22.00 but I layed when it was halfway round course & winning - It won by a bloody Nose!!

How many points profit for march 200....1 point per loss etc

But due to slight confusion with stake when chaning a few things and 1st march being used as part of recovery for a winner last few days of challenge with money on, total points as regards profit is 14.8
Overall im happy with the results because i would have had to run around a bin truck all of march and put in hefty overtime and then still wouldnt have eanred what i have after tax etc, so its got to be a :)
however, 20 points is really an absolute minimum i shall be looking for in future !!

3 horses i struggled to choose from today, 2 of which in the 3.45 just ran, both lost !!
unfortunately the one i went for ran earlier on and won, so i am on a minus !!
the trial, last month, now this, all going into a minus early on, maybe i like the extra challenge?? lol
i think ive just passed the 100th lay, with 8 winners,
i hope to half that amount in the next 100 !!!

seems to use very similar rhetorical devices, but that could be an attribute of many a deluded gambler.
nothing to do with footsoldiers, he promsied to give me backing, but in the meantime, was losing hundreds of thousands to a syndicate, for some reason, i then got caught up with it and people think i am him...
I did a month where I made 1400 quid, he didnt pay up !!! thats when i heard about the syndicate money he lost..
Qould be quite happy for betfair to write on the trneches thread or something, we are two different people,lol..
