I will never comprehend this "well backed, follow the money" concept!

Surely, for every pound backed there is a pound laid!

Isn't the vast majority of the money matched, on the stonking favourite,
just traded because of the tight back/lay ratio?

i do take notice of horses that get backed down from when the market opens on course,especially horses were i cant find a reason why they are being backed down
