Dear BF,

Whilst I know you have alot on your plate at the moment, I would like you to respond to a statement and an undertaking you took when you advised of the Premium Charge changes on 1st Oct 2009.

We anticipate that the changes will reduce the number of customers affected by the charge and also the total amount of Premium Charges collected each week.

We will also be hosting one of our regular Q&A sessions on the forum within the next month or so, during which wed welcome Premium Charge related questions in addition to questions on any topic of interest to Betfair customers. Well publish more information about the session nearer the time.

Just to remind you its 1st Feb 2010 to-morrow, and I have an inkling your putting this Q/A off, as the results may be embarrassing for you

As one of your many new PC customers, I want to know if your 'anticipation' was correct

Birch2, I have always held the view that their statement about less people being effected by the last change in Premium charge was true the day after it was introduced so they could claim that they didn't lie BUT changing the £1000 allowance to a one off benefit was always going to trap more people as time went on so longer term they knew the statement was a lie.

Yes they need to restore the 1000 allowance over a 60 week rolling period. Otherwise, eventually I'll be affected, as will many other "innocent" punters. :(

Well be hosting a Q&A session on the forum on Tuesday 16th February between 6.00 pm and 7.30 pm (UK Time). Wed welcome questions on any topic of interest to Betfair customers.

To help us get through as many questions as possible, any questions that you do have can be emailed in advance to livechat@betfair.com. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to respond to each email individually but we will attempt to answer all questions raised via the live Q&A session.

You must have touched a nerve Birch
