if 100 people all send you their gold in exchange for a pittance (less than 10% of the actual value, they could do far better at a pawnbrokers), there is absolutely no chance that none of it is stolen

I wondered about this for a long time and then read about this scam in the times. They give you say £20 for your gold then sell it on to a proper dealer for about £100. If you want to sell VISIT gold dealers on the high street.If possible covent garden area in london,but don't take first price offered. Gold can also 'get lost in the post'.

Watchdog sent a piece of jewellery to one of thses outfits. It was valued at 280 they offered 60. Its a complete rip off. Also they must be taking stolen stuff as im not to sure they ask for proof of owership. They must be making money as theres loads of them springing up. Good luck to them but anyone sending them gold needs their heads examined.

Cashed the lot in about a month ago & got near £1400 ! Thai Gold is 23.16 carat fine
