First of all sorry for my bad English it is not my mother tongue.
Bought a Laptop couple of weeks ago. Two days ago when i was reading this forum the screen froze and i could not do anything except close it down. Have had no problems before this.
This problem only occur when i connect to my wireless network. Yesterday i had the computer running without a problem for a couple of hours but when i connect to wireless network, i takes 2-3 minutes and then i get a blue-screen and are forced to turn it off. This happens every time.
I tried to update my network driver and uninstalled my latest windows updates but without success. I have windows 7 home premium edition 32x, and my new computer is a HP Pavilion dm3. I have only one software installed on the computer and it has been mainly used for betfair. I have no viruses on it.
Is there anything i can do except reinstall windows?

Blue screening indicates serious failure in hardware or software. Only thing you can do is reinstall it from scratch. If that doesn't work , take it back to the place you bought it. It should be covered by the guarantee unless you have installed some very suspicious software.

I just had a talk with a HP tech that advised me to to the same. We started windows in safe mode with network and there it run without problems.
The only softwares i have installed on the computer is Gruss and The Toy. The only ones that have access to my computer and are making updates on my machine is Microsoft.
Going to reinstall everything and stop the updates from microsoft.

Deffo sounds like a driver issue with wireless, or hardware fault with wireless dongle or PCI bus.
Connect to internet using an ethernet cable and see if there is a driver update for the wireless card. if not, send it back and swap for a replacement, you really shouldn't have to dick about like this on a new computer.

Have reinstalled it now and been playing around for a couple of hours and the problem is now gone. Have no clue where the problem was, but don't thing it was a hardware issue.

Problem more likely to be drivers made by manufacturer than windows itself. Perhaps your PC came with a custom driver for wifi which didn't work properly, and win 7 installed a more generic version.
If it's new, you should be entitled to support from Microsoft/HP. Also, you can often get help by searching www.microsoft.com or just Googling.
