Caught by a drifter again

There must be a way to combat the drifter. Eighteen winning trading days recently almost back to square one after Jazrawy drifted out all day today. Stop Loss doesn't really work as I have no software and have to work. Even then I was confidant that the lay would be matched in running as the horse would be up with the pace but no. Any creative suggestions gratefully received
