Never assessed the way they're constructed before, been downloading the info for a long time for future reference, on the basis that the overall form in highlyranked races will be more solid.

But i glanced at a race today, the 9th ranked race of the day, 62.5% of the field with collateral matches, the toprated is Aeroplane. He's close to being in the top 10 rated horses for the day

But his only collateral form is when 2nd when beating Mister New York (4th) in Dec08. Since then they've run 15 and 14 times respectively!

Does anyone else assess Formscan? I know they can only rate the limited collateral form that there but the premise seems a bit shaky.

Very shaky because they are applying the same criteria to every race.
