I bought a program ABLE2EXTRACT which works extremely well.
(not expensive)

I earlier downloaded a trial version of Ablextract but when I look at the excell sheet its blank.

I highlighted the area I wished to convert, clicked on the excel button and it seemed to be thinking , it generated a sheet 1 and it was blank ?

might work for you if you haven't loads to do, otherwise loads of free converters online

You can determine the pages you want. Go to menu and scroll down options - 1 page, all pages etc.
