His old house is only a 2 miles away from me, Ive supported him throughout my whole life including writing to him.

Totally innocent and everyone who lived in this community would say the same

Oddly I used to work with a lady whose husband was wrongly imprisoned for a 'gangland' style murder (he was released a couple of yrs into his sentence). He was kept in a cell next door to Bamber, with other notables such as Peter Sutcliffe and the Stockwell strangler nearby, and was totally convinced of his innocence, having spoken to him on many occasions and gone over the case notes kept in Bamber's cell. He said that Bamber is either the best actor ever or is innocent.

remember reading about this years ago, and one of the main factors in bamber being found guilty was that neville bamber was about 6' 5" and very strong, he was still alive after many rounds of ammo had hit him, he was then hit over the head with the rifle with such force as to break the stock of the gun - it wasn't believed a young girl (bambers sister, who was the implicated killer) could have had the physical strength to achieve this.
