If you have had an online account restricted ie max bet £1 is it possible to open another account, with the same company, using slightly different details?

ie use a mobile to bet rather than the pc on restricted account (no IP address)

say you stay with your girlfriend (different address)

use a different deposit method (ie neteller)

Change**etc

Or is this technically fraud? Would they go over your details with a fine toothpick and comb if you had a big win?

All replies welcome ;)

everyone makes asking to use someone else's bank details sound really easy, takes a hell of a lot of trust, most people are understandably wary of letting gamblers have access to their account, would you let someone have access to your bank account?

Richard LL that is why I am reluctant to ask anyone except the bird..who got her(my) account restricted. If you did get a win it's all in their name.

Mobiles do have an ip address. If use betfair mobile have a look in my account, my security and you will see a list of all the ip addresses that have logged in to your account. Hence if you used the same mobile on the first closed account and your gf account may explain why that account was closed

Mobile data works basically the same way as Native Address Translation (NAT), but the mobile network doesn't use IP internally. Mobile phones don't have an IP address. Mobile phone uses the operator mobile communication network to reach GGSN, which is the gateway to IP networks and Internet in general. The IP address you see is the address of an operator (provider) GGSN.
